OUR STORY

JULY 2023
-
Installed the first of seven LFLs in Cary, NC.
-
Began running Inkwell Writing Workshops, free summer writing classes for kids in underserved communities of the NC Triangle. These workshops continue annually.

NOVEMBER 2023
-
Organized our first Kits to Heart project in Cary and Morrisville, NC. Over 30 volunteers helped create thoughtfully designed, handmade crafts for cancer patients throughout the United States.

SEPTEMBER 2024

Collected, sorted, and packed 2236 books for donation to the African Library Project, a nonprofit organization that helps create and sustain small libraries for developing countries in Africa.

JUNE 2023
-
Started the Little Free Library (LFL) project right at Kenna's neighborhood!

Our volunteers engaged to establish mini libraries that provide books for children in the Greater Triangle area, North Carolina.

OCTOBER 2023
-
Ran the inaugural Western Wake Children's Business Fair, which empowered 150+ child entrepreneurs from across the NC Triangle to showcase their unique products. This fair continues to be run annually.

FEBRUARY 2024

Volunteered at the For Girls Like Quaneisha Mentoring Program, a Fuquay-Varina, NC–based initiative dedicated to empowering young girls facing challenging circumstances. Our mentoring activities continue throughout the years.

DECEMBER 2024

Obtained funding for the Inspire Leadership Foundation.
