African Library Project 2024

On September 15th, 2024, our volunteer members collaborated with AYLUS to collect, sort, and pack 14 boxes of 1005 books for the African Library Project. The two libraries we shipped these books to are The Tsuri International Christian School Library and the Hade Community Library in Uganda. The African Library Project (ALP) is an international network of partners, volunteers, and community supporters, book drives are transformed into sustainable libraries. Volunteers in North America organize book drives for the ALP by rallying their communities to collect gently used children’s books and raise funds for shipping.
