African Library Project 2024

African Library Project (ALP) is an international network of partners, volunteers, and community supporters, book drives are transformed into sustainable libraries. Volunteers in North America organize book drives by rallying their communities to collect gently used children’s books and raise funds for shipping. On September 15th 2024, our volunteer members, collaborated with AYLUS, collected, sorted and packed 14 boxes of 1005 books. The two libraries we shipped out are Uganda: The Tsuri International Christian School Library and Uganda: Hade Community Library.  We hope to continue to contribute to the African Library Project.
