During the summer of 2026, we continued our literacy community outreach program with the fourth annual Inkwell Writing Workshop, which took place from August to September. This year's workshop offered in-person classes every Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The workshop was a great success, with strong attendance from the start! We received positive feedback on the fun and engaging activities as well as the instructors' interactions with students.

On September 7th, 2025, our volunteer members collected, sorted and packed 13 boxes of 1004 books for the African Library Project. These books will be shipped out to Uganda soon. The name of our donated library is Amokoge Primary School Library (open to community). We hope to continue to contribute to the African Library Project (ALP), which is an international network of partners, volunteers, and community supporters. During the summer of 2025, we continued our literacy community outreach program with the third annual Inkwell Writing Workshop from July to August. Inkwell Writing Studio’s mission is to inspire and empower young writers to reach their full potential. The workshop offers in-person classes every Saturday and Tuesday. Our instructors dedicated many hours to preparing course materials, grading homework, and providing thoughtful feedback on students’ poems.

On September 15th, 2024, our volunteer members collaborated with AYLUS to collect, sort, and pack 14 boxes of 1005 books for the African Library Project. The two libraries we shipped these books to are The Tsuri International Christian School Library and the Hade Community Library in Uganda.
